Bishan Singh Bedi Funeral: Several cricket celebrities, including Kapil Dev and Virender Sehwag, attended the funeral of the legendary Indian spinner Bishan Singh Bedi, who passed away after a long illness at the age of 77.

Players like Kapil Dev, Madan Lal, Sehwag, Kirti Azad, Ashish Nehra, Ajay Jadeja (who currently supports the Afghanistan team), and Murli Kartik, who learned the art of spin from Bedi, bid their final farewell to the cricket icon.
A former cricketer who was present at the ceremony said, “Many players who have played first-class cricket were also there. He was not just a great cricketer but also a wonderful person.”

Bishan Singh Bedi was born in 1946 in Amritsar and made a significant impact in the world of cricket, taking 266 wickets in 67 Test matches for India. He was part of the famous Indian spin quartet, which included Erapalli Prasanna, Bhagwat Chadrasekhar, and Srinivas Venkataraghavan.
