Uganda’s cricket team achieved something amazing before the T20 World Cup 2024, to be held in the West Indies and USA. They’ve qualified for the tournament, and it’s their first time ever making it to such a big event. The players were overjoyed after their qualification and celebrated by dancing on the field. People loved watching this happy moment, and the video of their celebration became popular on social media.

Uganda’s Historic Achievement
For the first time, Uganda will participate in a World Cup cricket tournament. This special tournament by the ICC will take place between June 4 and 30 next year. By defeating Zimbabwe, Uganda became the 20th and final team to qualify. Namibia secured the top spot by winning all six matches, while Uganda finished second with five victories. This secured their spots in the T20 World Cup.

The Celebrations
The Uganda Cricket Association shared a video of the victory celebration, and it’s spreading joy among fans. The post says, ‘The celebration has just begun!’ The video has been viewed more than 1.1 million times and received over seven thousand likes.
