It looks like rain is causing trouble for cricket matches in several places. Sri Lanka, England, Bangladesh, and now even India have faced rain during the warm-up matches for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Out of the five warm-up matches held so far, three got washed out due to rain. Fans, players, and teams are hoping for better weather on Monday, October 2.

Unfortunately, it seems that the weather might not cooperate. There’s an 85 percent chance of rain at both venues all day. So, we might not get to see much play. South Africa, whose first warm-up match was rained out in Kerala, are eager to get on the field. Meanwhile, New Zealand, who defeated Pakistan in the first warm-up, are ready for their match.

In another warm-up game, England couldn’t play against India due to rain, and they’re looking forward to getting some action. Bangladesh won their first game against Sri Lanka, but if they play against England, it will be a tough challenge for them and a good chance to test their skills before the World Cup.
