Morgan believes that England’s wrist-spinner, Adil Rashid, will emerge as the leading wicket-taker in the tournament. He praised Adil’s ability to befuddle even the best batsmen with his spin variations, making it challenging for them to predict his deliveries. Rashid is poised to trouble opposition batsmen throughout the World Cup.
The former England cricketer is confident that England will clinch the title once again, just as they did in 2019. He commended the team’s remarkable performance in recent years and highlighted that entering the tournament as non-favorites could work in their favor. Morgan’s favoritism extends to Team India’s captain, Rohit Sharma, whom he believes will be the Player of the Tournament.
