About Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, popularly known as MS Dhoni, is a former Indian cricketer and captain of the Indian cricket team. Born on July 7, 1981, in Ranchi, Jharkhand, Dhoni began his cricketing career as a wicket-keeper batsman for his state team in 1999-2000.
He made his debut for the Indian cricket team in December 2004 in a One Day International (ODI) match against Bangladesh. Dhoni rose to fame quickly with his aggressive style of batting, exceptional wicket-keeping skills, and sharp captaincy.
