Were out for the last day
When the World Cup 2023 team was selected, Axar Patel was included in the Team India squad. But due to the injury suffered during the Asia Cup, he had to be left out of the World Cup team. R Ashwin was included in the team in his place. Not only this, when Hardik Pandya got injured in the middle of the tournament, despite Akshar being fit, Prasidh Krishna was not included in the team.
