Axar Patel expressed disappointment at being dropped from the World Cup

While talking to Geo Cinema before the first T20 match with Australia, Axar Patel said, ‘I was disappointed because of not being able to play in the World Cup 2023. But now I have got a big opportunity to establish myself in the team.’ The disappointment of not being able to be a part of the World Cup team was clearly visible in this statement of Patel.

When the World Cup 2023 team was selected, Axar Patel was included in the Team India squad. But due to the injury suffered during the Asia Cup, he had to be left out of the World Cup team.
