IND vs AUS: The first match of the 5-match T20 series between India and Australia (IND vs AUS) was played on 23 November in Visakhapatnam. Captain Surya kumar Yadav won the toss and decided to bowl first. Australia batted first and scored a huge score of 208 runs at the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. While chasing this target, the Indian team won with 2 wickets remaining on the last ball.
India made Australia face defeat
Australia set a target of 209 runs in 20 overs for India to win. To chase this, Rituraj Gaikwad and Yashasvi Jaiswal came as opening batsmen from Bharti’s side. Gaikwad could not even open his account. He was run out and had to return to zero. Jaiswal also could not show any special feat and walked away after scoring 19 runs.

After which there was a big partnership between Ishan Kishan and captain Suryakumar who came to bat. Due to which India crossed the mark of 150 runs in 15 overs. However, Ishan Kishan was out after scoring 58 runs in 39 balls. But from the other end, Suryakumar batted aggressively and scored a half-century in 29 runs. Surya played the match winning innings of 80 runs. In the end, Rinku Singh (22) also supported him well and when 1 run was needed on the last ball, he made India cross the threshold of victory by hitting a six.
Josh English scored a century and Steve Smith scored a half-century
After winning the final of the World Cup 2023, the Australian team was seen batting with full enthusiasm in the T20 series (IND vs AUS). In the first T20 match played against India, he batted aggressively and scored 208 runs.
In which Josh Inglis, batting at a strike rate of 200, scored 110 runs in 50 balls. During this period, 11 fours and 8 sixes were seen from his bat. While Steve Smith started the innings, he gave a bang by playing an innings of 52 runs. Matthew Short scored 13 runs and Team David scored 19 runs.
Poor bowling by Prasidh Krishna and Ravi Vishwai
Indian bowlers had an ordinary performance against Australia. Australian batsmen attacked the Indian batsmen fiercely. During this period, fast bowler Prasidh Krishna and spin bowler Ravi Vishwai proved to be very expensive in the team. Prasidh Krishna gave away 50 runs in 4 overs with an economy of around 13. Whereas could take only one wicket.
