In which Hardik Pandya may get a chance to captain because he is seen leading the team in this format. But former Indian Gautam Gambhir has shared his different opinion on this matter. He has demanded to make this player the T20 World Cup captain.

Gautam Gambhir wants to see Rohit Sharma as the captain in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. He captained well in the World Cup. Therefore, captaincy should be given in the T20 World Cup. Expressing his views on the sports website, he said,
“I would like to see the T20 World Cup 2024 as captain. Hardik Pandya was captained in T20. But compared to him, only Rohit should get the captaincy. Don’t choose him as a batsman. He has shown it with his batting in this World Cup if you pick Rohit Sharma. However, he should be selected even though he wants to play the T20 World Cup.”

Rohit Sharma’s captaincy statistics are fantastic
Indian captain Rohit Sharma has so far captained India in 51 matches in T20 cricket. In which he won 39 matches. Whereas they had to face defeat in 12 matches.
