On Tuesday in Mumbai, Delhi Capitals secured their spot in the Women’s Premier League final by defeating UP Warriorz by five wickets.
After winning the toss and choosing to bowl, Delhi Capitals exhibited a disciplined bowling performance to limit UP Warriorz to a total of 138 for six. Alice Capsey, the off-spinner, claimed three wickets for 26 runs, while Radha Yadav, the left-arm spinner, took two wickets for 28 runs.
While Tahila McGrath top-scored for UP Warriorz with an unbeaten 58 off 32 deliveries, captain Alyssa Healy contributed 36 runs. Chasing the target, Delhi Capitals skipper Meg Lanning scored 39, and Capsey, Marizanne Kapp, and Shafali Verma all made valuable contributions with the bat, guiding their team to victory in 17.5 overs with five wickets in hand.

Shabnim Ismail took two wickets for 29 runs for UP Warriorz.
