Pakistan Cricket Team Reaches India After 7 Years for World Cup 2023. Azam’s team came to Hyderabad from Dubai. They left Lahore early on Wednesday and arrived here at night.

Pakistan will have their first match against New Zealand on September 29. Before the World Cup, they will play practice matches against New Zealand on September 29 and Australia on October 3. Pakistani players got Indian visas only 48 hours before they had to travel.

India and Pakistan don’t play each other in cricket a lot because of their tense relationship. Only Mohammad Nawaz and Salman Ali Aga have gone to India for cricket. In 2016, Babar played in the T20 World Cup in India because he was injured. Before the team left, Babar was excited about playing in India.

The Pakistan cricket team has a rich history with some impressive world records. Here are a few notable ones:

  1. Fastest Test Century: In 2002, against New Zealand, Brendon McCullum of New Zealand hit the fastest century in Test cricket, taking just 54 balls. This record-breaking feat happened against Pakistan.
  2. Youngest Test Captain: In 1952, Pakistan’s Abdul Hafeez Kardar became the youngest Test captain at the age of 21 years and 131 days. He led the team against India in Karachi.
  3. Highest Partnership in ODIs: In 2006, during a match against Zimbabwe, Pakistan’s Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan set a record for the highest partnership in One Day Internationals (ODIs) with a stand of 4,293 runs. This partnership is still unbeaten.
